About me

I was born and raised in Rome (Italy) where I graduated in Political Science at LUISS University in 2002.

The Erasmus program eventually brought me to Sweden, and for the past 15 years I have been living in Malmö.

I have had a very international career, spending the last 12 years in a variety of roles encompassing Product Management, Business Development & Sales and Operations primarily in the Domain and Hosting Industry.

Most recently, I was tasked with building up and launching the .CLOUD Top-Level Domain extension for Italian Hosting giant Aruba.it.

With the help of a small team, I managed every step of the launch, from developing the business plan and the policies, to creating the marketing and communication strategy, recruiting anchor tenants and building up a worldwide network of resellers, including some of the major domain Registrars and hosting companies in the world.

The .CLOUD launch has been widely recognized to be one of the most successful new domains launches of the past few years, with over 100.000 domains sold in the first year alone.

Before taking over the responsibility for the .CLOUD Registry, I spent 6 years at Afilias, one of the world’s largest Domain Registry Operators, where I was in charge of Business Development and channel management in Europe for products ranging from domain names and managed DNS, to cutting-edge mobile device intelligence service DeviceAtlas.

I have been featured as speaker or moderator on topics ranging from domain and hosting to mobile trends at major events including Russian Internet Forum, Cloud Expo Europe, Saint-Petersburg Internet Conference, Internetdagarna, World Hosting Days and Domainforum.global.

I enjoy writing and I have also contributed articles and comments to major publications including Forbes and Tech.eu. You can find a selection of articles and presentations in the Articles & Videos section.
